This Saturday, August 13 th the Relay Survivor Brunch will be at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This is open for all cancer
survivors! The Pratt County Relay for Life will begin at 7 pm, Friday, August 19 at Zerger Field. We’d love to have you join our Yellow Road of Hope Team. Come and join us raise funds to bring hope and wipe out cancer!! "There's no place like hope!"

#54 and #281 in Pratt , Kansas invite you to check out our worship services and other special activities during the week of Saturday, August 13- Saturday, August 20, 2011. Sunday, August 14 is the ninth Sunday after Pentecost. The Early, Informal Worship Service begins at 8:15 a.m. in the
Fellowship Hall. Sunday School classes meet from 9:05-9:55 a.m. except for the 50/50 & Kum Double Class that meets from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The Contemporary Worship Service begins at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary with the Praise Band/Worship Team leading worship. Jeanette Garretson will be our Liturgist in the Traditional Service. The Traditional Worship Service starts at 11:00 a.m. in
the sanctuary. Jane Biles will be playing "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus" (Thygersen) for the
offertory in the traditional service. Ashley Fitzsimmons will be sharing a solo, "Safe Within Your Arms" (Mark Hayes) in the early and traditional services. The Scriptures for today’s message are Luke 19: 47-48 and Luke 20:20-26. Pastor Dan, will be preaching the sermon “Enemies Jesus Made” in his series entitled “You the Man!”
Our Monday activities include the Quilters who meet in the basement & Monday Morning Moms who meet in the parlor at 9:30
a.m. The Faithfully Fit Forever Exercise Team meets regularly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00 am during the summer. The Ladies Bible Study group meets at 7 am on Wednesdays. Wednesday, August 17 is our next Girl’s Night Out Craft Party at 5:30 p.m. Come and go as you can. Also, the Outreach Committee will meet on that same night at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room.
Looking ahead our Indescribable Wednesday Evening Snack Supper and Ministry Groups will begin on Wednesday, September 7 at 5:15 p.m. Also, our Children's Leadership Ministry Team will meet Wednesday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. A parent's meeting will be on August 28 during Sunday School for parents of children and youth in these ministry areas!
