Every Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. a devoted group of people meet for breakfast, prayer and spiritual study of the Bible. The Prayer Group was formed after a member of the group attended the President's Prayer Breakfast in Washington. From that program, a direction is given to return home and share the power of God's love through prayer in a group setting. During the seven years the group has been organized, they have studied the works of outstanding Christian leaders such as Max Lacado, Rick Warren, Darlene and Bruce Wilkinson, Dee Brestin, and Kathy Troccoli. The Prayer Group welcomes anyone to visit and join them on Wednesday morning in the Conference/Chapel of the United Methodist Church.
